Still thinking about how scary technology is becoming, I created the background for this photo from an over-exposed photograph with abstract qualities. I tampered with the colours and used a brush tool to create a water effect. I then layered a collage showing a family from the past stepping into pattern I found in a Birdseye view of a swimming pool. I aim to show how we as a race blindly consume all the technology and capitalist growth that comes our way, and how scary it is that this consumerist lifestyle is so normal and taken for granted.

I juxtaposed calm and serene moments with loud moments of destruction in this video. I did this with the aim to shock, and through this contrast of volume and imagery, emphasise each section of this video.
